PES Network conference: implementation of the youth guarantee - challenges and success factors

Looks at the implementation of the youth guarantee by public employment services (PES), drawing on the results of an EU seminar held in 2015. Considers ways of ensuring the sustainable activation of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET). Looks at collaboration with employers in facilitating young people's transition from school to work. Considers the need for enhanced career guidance for young people, and ways of strengthening collaboration with schools. Presents key conclusions on the role of PES in implementing the youth guarantee.
