Explains that workforce ageing presents a growing challenge to most employers. Outlines the special issues affecting the retail sector, highlighting employment practices which will be hazardous under the Age Regulations. Covers age discrimination in employment, recruitment and promotion, pay and conditions, retirement and redundancy, and management and training. Includes questions designed to help employers respond to the ageing workforce and Age Regulations.
