The UK value stream for remotely piloted civil aircraft systems (RPAS): literature review

Provides the results of a literature review of the evidence base on the UK value stream for remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS). Describes RPAS, the research objectives and the analytical framework used. Presents an overview of RPAS research, production and markets. Looks at the applications of RPAS technology in the UK and globally. Explores the potential for developments in the RPAS value chain, and discusses RPAS market forecasts. Identifies gaps in the existing evidence base and discusses some of the policy implications of the evidence identified.
