Addressing youth unemployment through outreach, activation and service integration: technical dossier no. 9

Explores ways of improving the integration into the labour market of young people not in employment, education or training (NEET), drawing on the findings of study visits to Finland, Poland, Scotland and the Czech Republic. Presents a case study looking at the key lessons emerging from the integration of services to promote youth employment in Finland. Looks at client activation of the NEET group in the Czech Republic and identifies key lessons for European Social Fund managing authorities. Considers outreach activities to support vulnerable young people into employment, focusing on good practice case studies from Poland and Scotland.
