The Welsh Food & Drink Skills Project: delivering skills for future growth

Assesses the supply and demand for vocational education and training across the food and drink supply chain (FDSC) on behalf of the four Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) (Lantra, Improve, Skillsmart Retail and People 1st) responsible for the FDSC. Outlines the importance of the FDSC to the Welsh economy. Looks at business characteristics, the extent of cross-sectoral activity and business drivers. Presents the research findings and examines the demand for skills and supply of learning. Draws conclusions and makes policy recommendations.
